Green tea is originated in ChiBi, HuBei province, China and first written record by a man called the mystical emperor ShenNong in 2737 B. C.. This tea is named green tea by the emperior ZhuYuanZhan in Ming Dynasty. Late Yuan dynasty, ZhuYuanZhan led the peasant uprising, because of the long-term war, his armies suffered abdominal pain. Fortunately, a peasant took some tea to the sick, after they drank the water, they did't felt any pain for a while. ZhuYuanZhan thought this was very mysterious and kept this in his mind, when he became the emperior, he decided to look for the hermit. When He found the hermit, he gave the tea leaf to him. The emperior Zhu amazed by its fragrancy and elegant outlooking, he gave the tea a name of green tea.
Nowadays, green tea is planted a lot and mainly distributed in ZheJiang, AnHui, SiChuan, HuBei province, in southern China and divided into several varieties like BiLuoChun, HuangShanMaoFeng, LuAnGuaPian, XiHuLongJing, MengDingGanLu, PingShuiZhuCha, etc. These teas are very famous both inside and outside China.
